CranioSacral Therapy and the Digestive and Gastrointestinal Systems

Dora Franco, B.Sc., D.O., BI-D, ( www.terapia-sacrocraniana.blogspot.com ) completed the Course CranioSacral Therapy and the Digestive and Gastrointestinal Systems. This Course is one segment of a series of four advanced and high specialised courses developed and taught by Dr. John E. Upledger himself.

This Course puts emphasis on the functional physiology and causes for dysfunctions in the digestive and gastrointestinal systems, and on how the craniosacral therapist can enhance the natural healing of the digestive and gastrointestinal functions.

This advanced Course, developed for highly skilled therapists, was comprised of lecture, demonstration and hands-on practice with regard to all digestive and gastrointestinal systems, their anatomical structure and specific functions.

Experienced therapists can treat the patients with dysfunctions of the digestive and gastrointestinal systems, such as swallowing disorders (including reverse swallowing and vomiting), esophagus disorders (including gastro-esophasic reflux and hernia hiatal), disorders of the stomach (including gastritis and peptic ulcers), small intestine disorders (in co-relation with dysfunctions of the liver, gall bladder and pancreas), dysfunctions of the large intestine (including constipation) and disfunctions of the colon (including diarrhea), all in connection with other body’s systems and visceral innervations.
